Welcome to Wood St Nursery, a nurturing and inspiring early years setting located in the heart of Walthamstow E17, East London. Situated within St Gabriel’s Church halls on Havant Road, our nursery provides a warm and welcoming environment where children aged 11 months to five years can learn, grow, and thrive.
At Wood St Nursery, we are proud to have received an Outstanding rating from Ofsted, reflecting our commitment to delivering exceptional care and education. Our experienced team, led by Naomi Hillman and Beth Oliver, fosters a play-based approach that encourages curiosity, creativity, and emotional development. We offer a range of flexible attendance options from 8am-5pm, including 3, 4, or 5-day placements, with extended hours available through our Evening Club. We are open for 48 weeks of the year.
Our curriculum is enriched with activities such as Forest School, promoting outdoor learning and exploration. We also emphasise sustainability by encouraging and incorporating recycling into daily routines. Whether your child is just beginning their learning journey or preparing for school, Wood St Nursery provides a safe, stimulating, and supportive space for every child.
