🌿 Our Rooms at Wood Street Nursery
At Wood Street Nursery, we provide a nurturing, supportive environment for children aged 11 months to 5 years. Our nursery is divided into three thoughtfully designed rooms, each tailored to meet the developmental needs of children at different stages of early learning.
🌱 Willows – Baby Room (11 months to 2 years)
- A calm, caring, and stimulating space where our youngest children can explore safely. Infants begin to socialise, develop early communication, and build motor skills through sensory play and gentle routines.
🍂 Chestnuts – Toddler Room (2 to 3 years)
- This is a time of growing independence. In Chestnuts, toddlers develop their confidence, problem-solving, and social skills through hands-on activities, imaginative play, and group interaction.
🌳 Oaks – Pre-School Room (3 to 5 years)
- Our preschool room prepares children for the transition to school. We focus on early literacy and numeracy, communication, and cooperation, all delivered through fun, engaging, play-based learning experiences.
Each room provides a rich learning environment where children are encouraged to grow, learn, and thrive at their own pace — with the support of experienced and caring staff.
