Staff will work a standard 37.5 hour week with 5 weeks paid holiday.  We encourage all staff to train and support their learning and development to ensure that they are able to give their best to the children they care for. We foster an environment of ongoing learning and development encouraging staff to follow personal specialisms and signpost them to specific training.  We have a strong vision of the pedagogical style we wish our nursery practitioners to develop and will work closely with you and the children on the nursery floor to ensure that we shape and develop practice so that it is of the highest standard and meeting all children’s emotional, developmental and learning needs.

Current Job Vacancies:

• We are looking for an enthusiastic qualified and unqualified staff . We follow In The Moment Planning. We focus on continuous provision with children free to self-select, add to and extend activities. We know that children learn best through self-directed play, lots of time outdoors, and warm relationships with skilled practitioners in a rich and exciting play environment and are looking for practitioners that share these beliefs.

  Wood St Nursery is a good place to work, we look after our staff, providing supervision and support and promoting a friendly and happy staff team.

  Full time 37.5 hrs per week, 5 weeks holiday + bank holidays, pension scheme.

  Part-time, compressed hours and term time only considered for the right candidate. The salary would be pro-rata depending on hours worked.
