If you have a genuine love and respect for children and are keen to be part of a kind nursery where children learn through play we would like to meet you. Please email us at enquiries@woodstnursery.co.uk.
We want to ensure that our staff are happy, enthusiastic and committed to our nursery. We know that creating a positive and supportive working environment makes for well-motivated staff and that is a big factor in delivering high-quality childcare. We operate with competitive wages for the sector. Staff will work a standard 37.5 hour week with 5 weeks paid holiday. We encourage all staff to train and support their learning and development to ensure that they are able to give their best to the children they care for. Wood St Nursery is a well-resourced, fun and stimulating place to work, and we will support creative and exciting variations on a daily basis. We listen to the difficulties of staff and try to resolve problems democratically. We provide social opportunities for our team and ensure that inset training is both worthwhile and fun. Our nursery is a lovely place to work.
We foster an environment of ongoing learning and development encouraging staff to follow personal specialisms and signpost them to specific training. We have a strong vision of the pedagogical style we wish our nursery practitioners to develop and will work closely with you and the children on the nursery floor to ensure that we shape and develop practice so that it is of the highest standard and meeting all children’s emotional, developmental and learning needs.
